My co-worker Brian Emmons and I helped sponsor a 5k run in Andover MA for the ABC House as well as helping with setup and running of the yearly fundraiser.  The ABC Fun Run 5k occurred this past Sunday in downtown Andover Massachusetts.  It was a beautiful, sunny spring day and their were about 250 people in attendance to run or support the event.   It was a successful event enjoyed by children, families and adults!

The Andover ABC House is affiliated with A Better Chance Inc.  A Better Chance Inc. is a national non-profit organization.  ABC provides academically minded, minority students throughout the U.S. with an alternative educational experience. ABC identifies, recruits, and refers qualified, highly motivated students to outstanding secondary schools, both public and private, which provide scholarships to these students.   The ABC’s ultimate goal is to raise the number of minority professionals and community leaders.
